Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read this blog. This particular garment is in relation to this 3 piece suit made in readiness for the Cheltenham Festival 2022.
Having made garments for this client in the past, I had a history with this races horse owner. He approached me on this occassion asking to commission a 3 piece suit ready for the Cheltenham Festival 2022.
We had a look at the fabrics that he used in the past and opted to go in a different direction this time. Huddersfield Fine Worsted had just released the brand new Allsport II collection which features patterns that are perfect for this type of work. Having gone through the bunch, the client decided on a green based tweed with orange detailing. We used a tonal green and dark oak button to complete the look.
We then talked through the styling for the Cheltenham Festival 2022 3 piece suit and chose very similar to what the client had had previously : a single breasted jacket with notch lapel, 2 button fastening and detachable storm collar that could be hidden away beneath the jacket collar or left out for styling.
The vest of the suit would be completed with 4 welted pockets for a country look but without a lapel so not bulk the garment out too much.
The result; I hope you agree is great.
This suit can easily be worn for the environment it’s intended as well seperating it out wearing each piece individually.

Here is what the latest country client said
So Adrian really knows his stuff. We had a very constructive set of conversations about different sorts of suit, including what had worked for me in the past and what hadn’t. Final quality was excellent – two really good and quite different suits. So yes, very happy.
